The course will outline the duties and obligations of CSPs from a regulatory as well as AML perspective and will also delve into the details of the MFSA's new rulebook. SPEAKER'S PROFILE
Marina Grech is a Senior Associate within Ganado Advocates’ investment services and funds department. Over the years she has assisted a number of clients obtain authorisation from the local regulator, the MFSA. Her expertise spans from company service providers, to investment services licence holders, such as AIFMs, UCITS management companies and brokers, as well as UCITS schemes, AIFs, venture capital funds, real estate funds and private equity funds.
Working with authorised entities necessarily entails the provision of specialised regulatory assistance. Marina actively assists clients with various ongoing regulatory matters on a day to day basis. This includes compliance with local and EU legislation as well as applicable MFSA requirements, in order to ensure that licence holders operate within the parameters of the applicable regulatory framework.
Additionally, Marina regularly advises clients on corporate matters. This includes the setting up in or continuation to Malta of legal entities, the restructuring of authorised entities, as well as ongoing operational and governance considerations.
