ACCA Update on the June 2020 exam session – Covid-19

Date: 6th May, 2020 
The below September 2020 variant exams are available for entry through your myACCA account:
  • Corporate & Business Law (LW)
  • Taxation (TX)
  • Advanced Taxation (ATX)
The Early exam entry deadline for the September 2020 examination session is 11 May 2020.
The Standard exam entry closing date is 27 July 2020.
There will be no changes to the syllabus and  you will be examined on the June 2020 syllabus.
Since the ATX is a paper based exam, the September 2020 exam will use the existing June 2020 exam paper.

The exam paper will even have June 2020 stamped upon it. The LW and TX will be held as CBE exams.
The exams will be the same format as they would have been in the June 2020 Session.
Date: 4th May, 2020
ACCA confirmed that the Foundation in Accountancy and ACCA Qualification variant exams will take place in the September 2020 examination session using the June syllabus.
This decision, allows ACCA to keep the exam content secure and allow most students who were intending to sit these exams in June the opportunity to do so.
You can refer to the full list of affected exams here. If your exam is not listed, this means it is going ahead as scheduled.
Students will be able to enter for the September 2020 examination session from 5th May.
