Pre-Purchased CPE Bundles TERMS & CONDITIONS

The 2021 CPE Bundle Scheme allows users to buy a bundle of 10 hours of structured CPE at a discounted hourly rate. There are 4 CPE Bundles on offer: Members, Retired Members, Non-Members and Students.
Purchase of the CPE Bundles can only be made online through the Institute’s website.
Full payment is to be made upon purchase.
The invoice and receipt can only be issued on behalf of the participant. Documents can be viewed through the participant’s profile.
The CPE Bundle Scheme applies only for MIA organised events taking place till 31 December 2021. Hours purchased through this scheme cannot be used to attend conferences, events which are already discounted and events which are held in conjunction with third parties.
The CPE hours purchased must be utilised by 31 December 2021.
Any unutilised hours cannot be carried forward to the following year.
Refunds for unutilised hours will not be entertained.
CPE hours purchased through the CPE Bundle Scheme cannot be transferred from one person to another.
Participants have the option to purchase more than one CPE Bundle. These terms and conditions apply for additional purchases.
Webinar/face-to-face terms and conditions will still apply.

1. Bookings of CPE events

Participants are requested to place their booking by filling in the online registration form available through a link in the respective CPE’s dedicated webpage.
This form is to be sent by not later than 2 days prior to the event. Bookings received after this deadline will not be accepted.
It is the responsibility of the person filling in the form to provide accurate information.
Applications will be processed at the earliest time possible and a confirmation of booking will be sent via email. Kindly contact the Institute on cpeevents@miamalta.org if confirmation of booking is not received after 5 working days.
The Institute shall keep a record of the hours purchased and utilised. A statement is sent to participants on a monthly basis.

2. CPE Events Cancellations

Cancellations need to be initiated by the participant through the "My Events Regis-tration" tab by not later than 2 days before the start time of the event. A cancellation confirmation email will be sent accordingly.
In such cases, the Institute will reinstate the assigned hours pertaining to the can-celled event to be used for 2021 upcoming events.
Hours for unattended events will not be reinstated.

3. Data Protection

Participants registering for events are agreeing that the MIA will collect their information, which will be processed as per the MIA Privacy Notice for CPE Events.
