She commenced her career with the Central Bank of Malta before joining the MFSA in 2002 in order to pursue her career within Banking Supervision. Ranier Fsadni teaches social anthropology at the University of Malta. Amongst other noteworthy appointments, he has served as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Mediterranean and Maritime Affairs (2004-2012) and Director Operations at the European Commission-League of Arab States Liaison Office (2009-2014). He writes a weekly political and cultural column for The Times of Malta.

David has held senior positions in government, private sector, and overseas, and is an independent management consultant since 2014.

Thomas Galea is a CPA, who holds a practicing certificate in auditing. Thomas joined KPMG in 2005 and has worked in various practices within the network. He is currently a Director within the audit function of KPMG in Malta focusing mainly on Banking and mid-market clients. Thomas is also Malta’s representative on ACCA’s International Assembly.
As a co-founder and CEO of Altaro, an international software company headquartered in Malta, David has led the company since its inception in 2009. Before that, David spent 11 years at GFI, his last role being Director of Product Management with responsibility for product strategy, OEM relationships and M&A technical due diligence.

Nick covers issues facing the accountancy profession, the finance sector, and business. He has written on corporate governance, the future of the profession, Brexit, and professional ethics. Prior to joining ACCA, he was global head of policy and part of the UK’s national technical team at a prominent accountancy firm. He is an auditor by background.

Dr Natalie Kenely’s expertise includes management, leadership, and emotional intelligence. Her doctoral thesis, titled Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership, explored issues of organizational climate, HR functions and leadership, and their effect on relationships and emotional intelligence within an organization. She was awarded Best Paper Award in an International Conference on Leadership held at Ashbridge Business School in London in 2013.
