Background Information 


This session allows participants to explore career plans and career goals and formulate a plan of action that will provide the foundation for reaching out and engaging in gainful employment.

Speaker
Claire-Suzanne Borg

Claire-Suzanne Borg holds a B.Psy (Hons)(Melit.) degree from the University of Malta, and an MSc. Work and Organizational Psychology from the University of Limerick, Ireland. Claire has focused on, and continues to research productivity and communication in the workplace. She is licensed by the BPS (RQTU 398354) as a personality and ability test psychometrician. Claire is a Training Consultant and Psychometrician at PsyPotential Ltd.

Claire’s strong interest and educational background in Work Psychology has led her to work in a diverse number of sectors, namely training and development, psychometric testing, work psychology consultancy, recruitment (EU and non- EU) and career coaching. Claire's experience with long-term unemployed persons, and persons from disadvantaged backgrounds has cultivated a special interest in mindfulness in the workplace practices. Moreover, working with adults from the aforementioned backgrounds has encouraged Claire to work with local teens and pre-teens in order to help them prepare themselves for the world of work and challenges that they may face while taking this important step in their careers.

Additionally, Claire is a yoga instructor (Registered E-RYT, YACEP) and uses yoga as a platform to inspire her students to test their limits, and believe in their ability to achieve anything that they set out to do.
