The Institute has been considering for some time the organisation of a small number of sporting events in order to promote informal interaction and networking between members.

The first such event will be an ‘Accountants Bowling League‘ to be organised by the Eden SuperBowl early in the New Year, and which will be open to Members of the Institute and to students of the MIA / ACCA Joint Examination Scheme. Employees of accounting firms who are not members of the Institute are also eligible to participate. However, there should be, at least one member of the Institute in the respective team

Details on the event can be accessed on the Eden SuperBowl website. It is the intention to present medals to the winning teams during the Institute’s annual dinner next summer.
